Which schools give out the best finaid?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
i don't think we can really know... from what i've read on sdn they give people different amounts. Then again, it is also relative to how much tuition and fees are. I would personally think if you are out-of-state and are granted in-state tuition, that's pretty awesome. but all that is still relative to the actual cost.

i think it pretty much has to rely on the individual school's Cost of Attendance; you aren't supposed to be able to borrow more than the school says you need.

I heard people talking about getting FULL rides at UConn...but other then that school I haven't heard of EVERYTHING being covered...

1. USC School of Dentistry offers ~8 full ride scholarships. In addition to these, the school also offers half-tuition, quarter-tuition and smaller scholarships.

2. The only problem, they don't entice potential applicants with scholarships to try and get them to come to the school. Instead, they hand out the scholarships during the first week of school.

I think UConn's full ride tuition works out to you saving about $80,000.
