Just wondering- which schools have actually been sending pre- and post-interview rejections, rather than waiting until the end? Thanks! 🙂

All of them... 😛

Well, to be more precise, with my experience, I've been rejected by U Pitt, Wake Forest, NYMC, Mt. Sinai, Columbia, U of Rochester, Georgetown, Albert Einstein, and I can't remember any more.

check out the accepted, wiatlisted, rejected thread. you'll get an idea of which school actually reject during the process.

For me it has been Vermont, and Einstein. F**k'em all I say.

I had no idea that NYMC was already sending out rejections. Are they sending out pre-interview or post interview rejections?

Wow - third one for Einstein - I got my thin envelop from them today 🙄

Hey!

Kaos - was your nymc rejection pre-interview?

I just got a jefferson and gwu rejection (pre-interview) in the mail this last week, so if you haven't been notified yet by them, at least they're not stringing you along!

when did you receive the nymc rejection?

just curious

Albany, BU, URochester, Dartmouth, Georgetown, GW, Stanford, Coumbia, NYU, Indiana, Kansas, Iowa, Cornell, UMichigan, Mercer

And ALL were pre-interview...

But I don't give a hoot because I'm into UVM!!!! 🙂

harvard was kind enough to notify me that decision letters will not be sent on february 28th, but rather, on march 6th.

phew! i just don't know what i would do if my rejection letter came a week late without me knowing! 🙄

The NYMC reject was my only post-interview rejection. All the others were without interviews.

I know, i thought that was kind of hilarious myself. Also got the rejections from Cornell and Boston pre-interview.

Yeah, I got that e-mail too. I'm feelin a Harvard rejection coming my way.

all my rejections were pre-interview:

albert einstein, cornell, NYU, Columbia

Since the first of the year, I have heard from Drexel, Ohio State, and Marshall. All were pre-interview.

Prior to that, my other pre-interview rejections include Oklahoma, EVMS, Florida, Case Western, ETSU, and West Virginia. In some of these cases, residency was a prime reason for the rejection and this was even stated in a couple of the rejection letters.

those of you who mentioned the AE rejection...is that pre or post-interview??? i interviewed there 6 weeks ago but haven't heard back yet...just wondering if they have started sending out post-interview rejections.

Just got an e-mail from Emory this afternoon saying I would not be getting an interview and, hence, no acceptance. No surprise there since it's almost March. If you haven't gotten an interview invitation by now ...
