I'm sure this was already in a thread somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. I can only find a list of schools that require a whole year of calculus.

I already took pre-calc, but I am trying to figure out whether calculus 1 would be in my best interest. I'm a bit weary of asking my pre-med advisor.

Thanks for the link!

I already have pre-calc, and will have biostatistics under my belt after this semester. By no means am I looking to apply ivy league, which a good amount of the schools on that list seem to be.

I know that Ivy schools require calc, but if you take calc anyways and apply to other schools, does it look better than "lower" level math?

I'm sure it would look good at the schools that simply recommend it, but not require it.

As for the schools that do not require it, and make no mention of it, I am not sure...
