Hi all,

Could you please give me some suggestions of which M.D. schools do I have a shot at out of state (I'm from TX)?

Here's my credentials:

1. I'd apply disadvantaged (background + English is my second language).
2. MCAT: 9 BS, 9 PS, 6 VS, and M (will retake in April 2005).
3. GPA: 3.85 overall, Science GPA is around there too.
4. Some EC, community services, I'm also shadowing an ob/gyn. Other than that, nothing is significant.

I've applied to most schools here in TX but want to apply to other schools in the States as well (I'm not interested in out of country). Please advise. Thank you very much.

Apply to many schools as you can(within limit of course). MCAT is on little low side especially verbal.

Are you planning to retake the MCAT?

I am in similar situation (3.8 GPA, 29 MCAT but 6 on VR, and ESL), and i am applying to at least 20 schools.
