Hey all,

I would greatly appreciate your info on which secondaries are the hardest/longest to fill out? Which has the most essays, and which has no essays? I just received my first secondary from U.Chicago... and it looks like a beast.

Thanks

Hi!

You think Pritzker is bad??? Wait until you get loyola or Pitt or Case!! Case is only one essay..but they want it to be on anything other then your interest in medicine! Also..Northwestern is kinda hairy too!! very touchy..feely!!! 🙄

Oh well...

Loyola? I didn't think Loyola was bad at all. Try completing the Rush secondary (about 10 essay questions, no defined word limit).

Pritzker, Vanderbilt, Baylor, OSU, USC have all been my longest ones...
Still haven't done pritzker b/c it is so long 🙂 haha

DUKE is kicking my ass.

I am 3 weeks late already.

Duke is definitely the longest and hardest one. Especially that ASSIGNMENT on medical ethical issues. Pitt and pritzer were short essays, which weren't too bad.

Pritzker was the hardest....looked at it 3 months ago and never touched it since...in fact, I think I lost the link..

baylor, case western pale in comparison...including duke...pritzker asked you to delve into your philosophy and your soul....

Watcha Watcha Watcha...I love ya man!
You are the bomb!
Keep on postin 🙂 😉 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Definately DUKE and RUSH...too freakin long...........

toughest: duke, pritzker, northwestern, vandy
easiest: harvard, penn, wahsu, ucsf

Tufts is only one essay - "why tufts" and any family connections with the school. BU as i understand it only wants a check (although I haven't actually gotten their secondary yet). Anyone know about UNC Chapel Hill?

As far as the time-intensive secondaries are concerned (having completed around 18), the worst are Stanford, Duke (especially the nightmare last question which asks you to discuss the ethical, theological and patient care aspects of modern medical technologies such as stem cell technology and cloning), and Northwestern. Yale and Pritzker are also a bit time consuming.
