Which studying method works better for you?

I was studying Bio,Gchem,Ochem all together but noticed it didnt really work for me

so i started studying for Gchem first, ochem after, and bio.

Just wondering which methods worked better for you guys?

finishing one subject and moving onto the next or just studying everything alltogether?

I studied one subject at a time, but it was pretty laborious. When it got to be crunch time I started reviewing quickly (going over note cards and reading bio notes I had typed up). I think that its much easier to stay focused for long periods of time if you switch it up, but that's just me. I wish I would have studied a little of each subject every day.

If you're really good at keeping yourself focused you might be different.

I did 1 subject at a time the first time through. After I had my concise notes for each subject it was a mish-mosh of everything at once (just like the real test).

Make sure you are focusing on only one thing your first time since you want that information to be solid. Your first round of studying you get you 90% there content wise. After that the other 10% comes from all the practice you do. You may learn new things when you practice, but there shouldn't be too many instances of "WTF...I never saw anything like that". Bio is of course an exception since it will always be "WTF"

I'm studying bio and gchem first then jumping to ochem and math afterwards. I find that studying at least 2 subjects at the same time adds variety and adds less to the boredom factor.

-went through and read everything once a year before in page order.
-reread all 3 subjects at a time, and outlined half of kaplan whole book

-the summer of i finished the second half outlining.
-reread 3 subjects at a time with practice questions
-did all the destroyer questions, and went back to topics i was clearly weak on
-practice tests, and made review sheets.

I studied one challenging subject for most of the day (~8 hrs) like GC... and then in the evening my reward was to study something I enjoyed more like PAT (2-3hrs). The next day would be dedicated to Orgo and QR in the evening. Bio in the day, RC in the evening. Rinse & repeat. That worked very well for me.

Initially I studied bio for a few days, then gchem for a few days then Ochem. Once I went back to bio, I realized I forgot a lot of what I learned. I started by studying one subject one day, amd the refreshed on another subject on day 2, then another subject on day 3 etc, then I went back and did it again just to make sure it alll stayed fresh in my mind.
