Medical Which Visa Status to choose?

Hi guys, I'm applying to medical schools this cycle and I'm trying to submit my application on June 1st. I have a status of "pending asylum" and I was wondering how should I list that on the AMCAS app. For the question "Please indicate the type of immigration status you currently hold in the United States", I don't have a specific visa per se but I have a legal immigration status. Should I choose "None" or "Other"? I've been trying to reach out to AMCAS but they're not picking up. Thanks in advance

I was able to get a hold of AAMC and they said to choose "None" since I don't have a current visa status. I'm confused on what is the right thing to do

Ultimately you have all the info you’re going to get. Other probably looks better. None may be more accurate.
