As a departing gift from my internship program we get to pick out a few books from a list. Will be a CA-1 come June and want to get some opinions on which 2 books I should choose.

I get to pick one of these two books:
Anesthesiology Review - Faust
Anesthesia Secrets

And one of these:
Clinical Anesthesia Procedures of the Massachusetts General Hospital
Handbook of Clinical Anesthesia - Barash
Sota Omoigui's Anesthesia Drugs Handbook
Handbook of Anesthesiology - Curresnt Clinical Strategies ( the green book)

What do you think?

I would pick Faust and MGH. Faust is a great review of topics- very readable, with short chapters focusing on the most important info. Very popular with the residents here. MGH is a great reference to take into the OR, better than Barash in my opinion.

Faust and MGH. Both are excellent.
