The white coat that my school provided me is literally falling apart (I'm not sure if this is a product of the garment's quality or my ancient laundry machine). Any suggestions for a replacement? Allheart.com?

i got a pretty good one from the amsa website; you could go there if you're a member. it was pretty cheap and it had the 'inside' pockets that i like, unlike the burlap sac that my school issued.

Goose-d, life uniform, allheart, and shopmedvet are all really cheap. Just depends on what you want.

Oh, and eBay too-sometimes you can find good stuff there.

I dunno man. It's a Landau product. I've been doing the suture tech thing and shadowing a neurosurgeon, so it's been through the wash alot. 😉

You can usually get one at the school's bookstore, or at least you can at my school. Also any uniform supply store that sells scrubs also has white coats, short and long.

I would just go on to allheart or go to the school bookstore and buy 2 or 3 of the cheapest they offer.

These are lighter, roomier and more durable than the one I got from my school. Its feels "cheaper" because its not a heavy fabric, but the pockets feel like they are sewn on with steel!

Yeah, you gotta be careful with the ones from the school bookstore though-ours are cheap as hell quality wise and expensive as shi! price wise.

I got mine from these guys. It's kinda pricy, but it's very well made and will stand up to a lot of abuse.

I had to resort to Wiki to get this. 😳 I R teh dum.

It's very comfortable and sturdy, though. I only own this coat and the cheapy one my school gave me, and I only wear that one when this one's in the wash.
