Hey,

I have just begun studying for my DAT which I'm taking in July and have been using the whiteboard that I know will be available during the exam.

I was wondering though, if the markers they give you during the test smell or not? It may seem trivial, but I get lightheaded and get headaches if I smell those things for too long so I was just wondering from someone who already took it. Can you bring your own?

I never noticed mine smelling. They were just off brand not-so-fine and slightly used dry erase markers.

you cant bring your own, im sure you'll forget the smell when the adrenaline rush from the test kicks in.

MIne did not smell...

But then again I was in a room with a whiteboard for 8 hours a day. My smeller was probably used to it😀

They don't smell UNLESS you stick them in your nose and take a whiff

Those are the exact markers I got (back in 2009)..

Its not exactly a whiteBOARD... Its more of a plastic sheet with grids... very much like this one:
