I am just curious who has the invite for Dec 2nd interview at Ohio State?
I have been, but will answer any questions you have.
snap, sorry bro. I was assuming and then ... sorry
I think that in the case of OSU an interview after dec 1 is totally ok. According to their website, they only have 4 interview dates (dec 2 is the third) in which they only interview a total of 200 people for 104 spots.
just getting an interview at all...especially if you are instater is a really good thing.
i was hoping to get an interview at osu soon i still have not heard from them...i know one guy who interviewed there as an in state student on the 14th but he said that there werent many instate people at that interview. so i dont know how they do it i just hope i get some love from them.
yes i am an instate student...are you instate?
what are your stats and have you interviewed any where else? and when did you submit your secondary, if you have a predents profile just post the link
i submitted ealier, abotu same DAT but lower GPA congrats on the interview goodluck
plus, do you think the last interview will be mainly instaters?
So pretty much all 84 seats will be interviewed for after Dec 2? yikes!
there were some in staters there on sept 30th if it helps to know...
Out of the 48 interviewees, 5 were from schools in Ohio. I personally met one person who was an Ohio resident. Some other people who went to OSU for undergrad were international students. So pretty much, there was hardly anybody who was in-state unless Ohio residents simply attended out-of-state schools and were invited. One notable thing about the first interview was that there were about 21 people who went to college in Utah. I don't know what accounts for the fact that a little less than 50% of the interviewees were from Utah.

well not necessarily. They actually interviewed some instate already on oct 14 and very few on sept 30th. I know 2 people from my school that interviewed on oct 14 and I am 99.99% certain that they will be receiving acceptance calls/letter Dec 4th. I would say probably 60 instate seats remain between the dec and Jan interview with better acceptance chance for the dec interview than the jan interview.
Anytime. I am down with sharing info about anything.
Here's some info,
when you get there everybody is carrying sheets with info on it. THere are like 60 people from OSU (staff/students). Find out who interviews you and during the time when everybody else is stuffing their face with breakfast, you can kiss butt hard. So eat before you go, the breakfast sucked anyway. They had like donuts and a ton of sweets, I am more of biscuits and gravy kind of guy, so I just spent the hour getting to know my interviewer. By the time it was my turn to interview, I was way comfortable with him and the student.
The interview is 2 on 1. Mine lasted 30 minutes. Easiest interview I have ever had. I was told that I either would get in or be an extremely high alternate. Another kid was told this word for word by his interviewer after the interview,
"Okay john doe, take the might out of this next sentence and you will know what I am saying. You might be accepted"
In short, he be accepted. Good Luck
