I called OSU Admissions this morning, and they confirmed that OSU will notify those accepted on Friday with a call and they'll mail out the packets that day also.

friday ahhhhhhhh! I just freaked out inside a little. I really want to get in to OSU 😍 Now I wont want to check my email all day and I will not let my phone out of my sight. Best of luck to all. This may drive me to drink 😛

I freaked out too. I was expecting to muddle through the weekend, and then I find out my wait is shortened by a few days OMG!!!! 😱 Of course, this is great and I'm glad I checked out this thread so I can have the front desk gal answer my phone if I'm with a patient. So, tally here.....who is going to sleep on Thursday night? I'm checking the status page at 12:01!!!!!

I was wondering if any of you know whether or not OSU takes into consideration your undergraduate school. I am an in state student, and will apply next year. I go to an Ivy but really want to go to OSU for dental. The only problem is, my school is really hard and I don't think I'll have as high of a gpa as those who went to easier undergrad schools. Do you think they'll consider the fact that I go to a hard undergrad school?

i am sorry to say but the name of your undergrad college makes no difference at all. your GPA and DAT makes up 60% of the weight so if your GPA isn't that good, work on your DAT.
