If anyone has had experience with Physics I and II at the Univ of Vermont either during the regular year or more specifically taken during the summer OR go to another school that offers Physics I and II during summer without a calc or trig prepreg---i would LOVE to hear from you!

How were your classes? teachers? I think the summer sections are smaller than the regular semester at UVM? What was your summer like if you had taken them during the summer?

I live in California and my current plan is to head to Vermont to take Physics I and II during the summer because I can't seem to find another school that offers Physics I and II during a summer that doesn't have calc or trig as a prereq. (I don't plan on taking calc.)

Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!

Let me get this straight. You live in California and you want to go all the way to UVM to take Physics 1 and 2 because you don't want to take calc? That's just plain stupid. Just man the hell up and take it at your own school. Either that, or learn to Google.

If you haven't taken trig....Physics is going to be hard.

Having taken trig based physics....I wish I would have taken Calc based physics because then you don't have to memorize anything; you can just derive the equations.

As far as I know, in CA, ALL college physics requires trig or calc.

You're going to have to take some college math eventually.....why skimp on it and make your physics knowledge AND your MCAT Physical Sciences section suffer in the meantime?
