who has withdrawls on their transcripts? What classes did you withdrawal from? What grade did you get when you retook the class? How do you feel about it?

Ok, I'll go first.

Fall of my freshman year, I withdrew from the following: Eng comp 1, college algebra, general psychology.I retook the classes in the spring and received A's. The next fall I withdrew from biology 1, humanities, spanish 1. I retook bio 1,humanities and received A's. I'm taking spanish this fall.

I'm not really worried about my w's because they were in my first year of college. But I do feel like I can't afford to screw up anymore. I'm glad I have received A's in all the classes I retook. If they ask about the withdrawls, I will just be honest and tell them I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life.

I had a ton of W's...mostly on-line courses that I forgot about or classes that I decided I did not like after the cut-off. Realistically, I probably had 7 W's. Not too worried about it. Just going to tell them the truth.

Your GPA makes up for a million W's. You're in good shape.

first quarter of my freshman year. first quarter of general chemistry. dropped it after losing a sibling. worst quarter of my life.

my heart goes out to you...that's struggle. I would replace that quarter with straight A+s If I were Adcom. Good luck with everything.
