I'm curious to know if anyone here has read TBR Biology, and if so, how has it faired out on FL's or the real deal if you've taken that. I'm not sure if it's worth reading or not. I'm contemplating using TPR or EK but considering this is a retake for me, I might try something new instead of re-reading the same books. Then again, TBR is extremely detailed...

I read entire first book (physiology/immunology) and parts of second book, mainly because I was enrolled in Biochem and Genetics at the time of studying for MCAT. So, I studied for those classes, and thought it wasn't as needed to read TBR. For instance, TBR goes in depth for glycolysis and CAC - I had to draw every structure in those two pathways, so I knew more than the book told me to memorize.

Did you benefit from reading it? Did you feel it was a waste of time? Is it helping you with FL's? I'm debating if I should spend the time to read it. I'm taking my exam on July 16th and I still have to finish Book 2 of Gen Chem & Physics Passages.

Since this is a retake and you're behind, you should consider rescheduling while you still can. Another poor score wouldn't look good. You should be wrapping up all of your content review by now.
