Who of you got accepted, after being put on an alt/waitlist?

I'm on 4 waiting lists...I was just wondering if anyone one SDN was accepted into d-school after being on a waitlist. Or if you know someone who got accepted.

If you did, could you answer a few questions for me?

What school?:

When did u find out? May? June?, etc:

Did you continuously call admissions and expressed interest?:

i'm very prepared to reapply for the 2006 cycle...i'm lookin for a job now and a new place to live..and trying to study for finals 🙄

I got into UT-Memphis and UNC off the waitlist. But I was out of state at both and started basically first alternate at UT and pretty close to the top at UNC.

Oh, i guess i should read the post better. I got in at UT on June 4th and UNC on June 30th or so. I declined UNC since i had made my decision about UT already.

I went up to UT once to talk to the secretary about the waitlist, but that was about it. I called the admissions director, but he didn't have the time of day to tell me what my chances were.

I got off the waitlist at harvard in June '03. I did not express interest, and never called them once. I don't think hounding addmissions staff helps your chances much of getting off the list and into the school. That being said, it is nice to know where you stand.
