can any one predict my chances of admission this year.Plz😕
write a good personal statment and apply early to as many schools as you can and you will definately get an interview this year.
apply early as in how early?🙄
once the admission cycle starts of each school...😎
yup that i know......i mean i m doin my internship now.....m plannin on givin part 1 in eb next yr...so wen should i apply?april -may?wat bout work experience?coz i m jus gonna finish my grad nd give exams?![]()
if you apply between April and May you would have a good chance with UIC, UOP, UMN, USC, UPenn, UCSF because their application cycle starts during this period and then apply to NYU, BU, UConn..
yup thats true......doesnt UIC need applicants to have greencard?
plus how far does work experience nd observership matter?i mean if u ve jus graduated!![]()
you are right, UIC requires Citizenship or GC.
work experience in the US is very important because admission committees need references so they highly consider the recommendation letters from people you have worked for in the US.
got the toefl result - 98
your stats may not be that good but your experience is what will bring you the magic call. So go ahead and apply , they look on your overall performance not just the scores.Dang you are all great!!! Makes me regreat applying, I think it was a waste of money! HAHA
I am embarrassed to post...
Anyways, I am also applying for perio, maybe they will want me instead 🙁
My stats are
part I: 84
TOEFL:115
GPA:2.88 (ugh!- I hate ECE, they did not consider my ranking!)
Maybe my resume might help me somehow....
I have 7 years of experience, specialization in Periodontics, 4 years working as a periodontist. Research experience, published 2 of my research. Volunteer work and teaching experience ( teaching apprenticeship during 2 years)
