I've started seeing more and more people who will be applying for the Fall 2008 cycle so I decided to start a thread.

Is anyone else as excited as I am to finally start the process?

you are applying for the class of 2012. If you wanted to be a part of the class of 2008 you woulda needed to apply in 2003

you are applying for the class of 2012. If you wanted to be a part of the class of 2008 you woulda needed to apply in 2003

Well, I don't know...I only have a 3.99 and 30+ on the DAT, with over 5,000 hours of shadowing and countless hours of volunteering...

Because the process is a crapshoot and there was a chance that I wouldnt get in where I wanted..and I figured that if I applied to a few more places,interviewed there and really liked them and got in, I would go there instead.

It is a crapshoot, but I guess I don't think I'd have enough cash to go through it all again.

I am not the only person who views class as entering or graduating apparently so does the schools I have applied to. I hate when people try to act smart about something. Not really. You don't know who I am. I wouldn't personally judge you based on a simple comment but you sounded very "sour" when you chose to single me out because I stated I would be applying to the entering class of 2008, not the graduating class. I wish you all the luck in your endeavors.

My dad's a dentist who probably rakes in about 200 grand a year and he still won't pay a cent for my dental school. I envy you.

I can't complain though, he did pay for my first 2 years of college.

My parents paid barely anything for my undergrad which(I think) is why theyre willing to fund my years off, application stuff,and dental school😎 But I somewhat work for the dad--he just bought some new offices and the admin paperwork BS just piles up everywhere..ick.
