Or is it just me? Also, is there anyone getting a LOR from a DO without having to shadow? Thankfully my new family doctor who was in charge of interviewing for med school has agreed to write me one without having to shadow. Although, he asked me to come in today so he could have a talk with me. It took roughly 10 minutes max. He's extremely nice.

Back to the LOR. Is it okay to send in secondaries and what not without pre-med committee or science professors' LOR? My pre-med committee will not meet until this coming fall (Septemeber) so I was wondering if I should get LOR from professors first to get my application rolling. Then, in September I could update the schools with my pre-med committee letter. HELP!!!

Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

the way many of the secondaries are set up, you could easily bypass the slow pokes at your school
