Ill be attending UTHSCSA!! Who else will be going there? Do y’all know anything about the program? What areas are y’all interested in studying? I’m nervous and excited and can’t wait!

I am attending UTHSCSA also! I'm wondering how the anatomy course will be taught because I know that students from the first OTD class said that it might be changed from when they took it this past summer.

I'm currently really interested in neuro and burn but am honestly open to anything!
 
You can look up an academic calendar on the website that shows the first day of class, close to the middle/end of May I think. But not sure about orientation or anything like that!

I’m super nervous about anatomy! Haven’t taken it in about 2 years!
 
I'm scared about anatomy too, but the students who did our group project portion of the interview made it sound doable. And working with the cadavers will help.

Do y'all live in SA now?

I also will be attending UTHSCSA! I know a current MOT student in her second year now and she said honestly the hardest part is getting in. She said its not easy but nothing they have come across has been unbearable! I am super excited! I currently live in Houston and am trying to figure out apartment/roommate situation for next year!
 
Hey y'all, I have a question. For the background check portion, is it supposed to include a drug test? was it around $80 dollars?
