It's my GPA. My overall is 3.14, my prerequisite GPA hovers from 3.11 - 3.3 depending on the program.
I have several problem courses that for the past two years I could not get into to retake. I did take other courses as prerequisites such as psychology and statistics but they were not lab courses. When it comes to lab courses in my area, it was literally impossible for me to get in. 35 person classes, with a full (and closed) waitlist, with an additional 30-40 people petitioning on the first day of class trying to sit in. I was one of those 40 every time and it was a lottery for about 3-4 people each time, and I can say now that I am not a lucky person. Of the six courses I took post-bacc for prerequisites, I have a 4.0 GPA. It's just those goddamn Cs from 8 years ago when I was a young stupid idiot that is really hurting me now.
You can probably find my extracurricular activities in the stickied thread, I don't feel like typing it all out. GRE was 162/161/5.0
I tried to get a PT aide job, but many of the places I have tried offered minimum wage or were so used to volunteers that they were unwilling to actually pay. I enjoy volunteering at the VA though to be honest.
I actually have a job at a TV manufacturing company. I am quality control engineer / logistics coordinator. It pays $15 an hour, more than I'd ever get at a PT aide job, and I have to help with the bills and just have money in general, so I took it instead.
