Who's taking retalin/adderal-type of meds during medschool?

I'm curious what % of students are taking retalin/adderal during med school.

A friend of mine took some adderol before our last anatomy exam (unergrad) and was pretty happy with it. I, personally, plan to stay away from the stuff.

Out of curiousity are the people who are taking adderall or ritalin in med school taking it because it was prescribed to them or illegally?

The fuzz won't bust the users, but the suppliers will be f'ed for life. Stay away from the drugs anyway. Where is the accomplishment if you need drugs to make it happen.

excuse my premed ignorance... but what do those drugs do to people who don't need them? Improve their concentration? I thought that ritalin makes people without ADD more hyper instead of less hyper.

Also, anyone ever use ProVigil?
