I bought destroyer, have gone through it a few times. I bought crack pat which is the main reason why I am retaking. I have kaplan online course and I'm doing chem and ochem subject tests. I have cliffs bio for reference and my old textbooks. If you have destroyer try to do it as many times as you can. It really builds your confidence going into the test. O yea, and I have one more topscore exam to give tomorrow.

I took a KAPLAN course, but honestly didnt find it very helpful. I just bought destroyer, so still waiting for that in the mail. I'm expecting it to arrive tomorrow. Right now I'm taking Achiever practice tests. Oh, I also read the entire Schaum's biology book, and Ochem.....GChem is so boring, but I have done some problem from the book as well.

Anything else I should do? or do differently?

I dont have destroyer yet, so I cant say anything about that...but from what I keep reading about it, i would recommend going over those problems. Make sure you go through all of your notes and understand them. Remember, we learn from our mistakes so ask us questions too. 👍

A Carbonyl is definitely a good functional group. The double bond makes the carbon very susceptible to an attack by a nucleophile. Anybody else want to add more?

Well, think of it this way, a nucleophile is that which is nucleus loving (attracted to a positive charge). Therefore, my answer is that a withdrawing group is more susceptible. Does anybody else agree with me?

I got mine on Thursday as well. I haven't done any RC, besides one practice test. should I do it? Umm...PAT is my strongest followed by bio, ochem, gchem, RC, then QR. im horrible at QR. But less then 36hrs left...what can u do. Bite the bullet i guess.

I know, i'm horrible at QR as well. Mostly, I spend my time on Bio, Gchem and Ochem. Good luck to you on thrsday. Actually i was supposed to take mine on thursday, but I just felt like i needed a little bit more time to study, so I pushed it back till the 1st. 😳

I am planning to take mine the same day, but only if I get ready by then. Mine is a retake. Last time I took it in 2005 and did Horrible, because i only studied Kaplan blue book and barrons for 1.5 month. So this time I am trying to get it right. How far are you with your studies? I'm done with Kaplan book and their tests, and almost done with destroyer, but still have a lot to study!!
