Why 60% on USMLEworld?

Where did this rumor come from that states if you score over 60% on USMLEworld that you will do okay on the USMLE? Right now with 80% completed I have a 70% and what does that mean, absolutley nothing.

Maybe what the OP was trying to get at was why does everyone shoot for a target goal of 60% and does that have any correlation to USMLE performance?

The answer is that not everyone shoots for a target of 60% and yes, it does correlate to likely USMLE performance. It's a statistically significant sample that has used the qbank. Look at www.medfriends.org for more info
