Why am I getting these cards?

Ok, so over the past week or so, I've gotten three of those certified mail receipts (from Pacific, UPenn and Columbia), and that's great and all, but I've never sent these schools anything by certified mail. I got the cards from Upenn and Pacific within a day of each other, even though I sent them my checks more than a month apart. The other reason that I'm confused is that the writing on all three cards is the same, and it's not my writing. Did everyone get these certified mail receipts (the green index-card sized postcards)? Does anyone know why I'm getting it when I didn't send anything by ceritified mail?

Did one of your LoR writers send somthing to them certified? that is indeed strange.

I can tell you that the reason the handwriting is identical is because the cards get written on when the original mail that is being sent certified is sent out. My dad works for USPS so I know that much 😛 ... so yeah, I'd second that maybe one of your LORs got sent certified?
