Why are Blood Types A & B predominantly IgM producers vs. Type O with mostly IgG

Does anyone know? I have heard from all sources thus far that we don't have a definitive answer, but thought someone here may have run across an explanation.

The explanation we got in class (that I can remember offhand) seemed kind of bs'y, maybe all the details not worked out, but having to do with persistent stimulation of ab production due to constant epitope exposure

Probably has something to do with it being an "amorph".
