Is it purely related to numbers (since on avg they score the lowest on the MCAT) or is there also a stigma associated with it when applying?
I always assumed that regardless of major if your scores were pretty good + could explain why medicine pretty well, one would have a solid shot, but say an applicant had a pretty good gpa and MCAT score, would the fact that they majored in some specialized health science be a negative on their application?
