Your best bet is to really read up on the school and their goals. It is a state school, so you are at an advantage if you want to practice in Wisconsin. UW is also pretty unique I believe in that it does a lot of hard core research and is well respected in that area, plus it offers rural primary care rotations and electives. So you pretty much have both ends covered depending on what you want to go into. It is really a good school, even though I go to one of the "other" big 10 schools in the midwest! (I am from Madtown though so I am biased)
