Maybe, just maybe, something else happened around Memorial Day where large crowds of people could have been exposed to the virus in close proximity.

I can't quite put my finger on it.

It was probably close friends having Memorial Day BBQs and selfish families taking their kids to the beach and swimming in the ocean without a mask (covid loves salty air and warm ocean breezes so I hear).
