Why did you receive a W?

I am filling out the Einstein secondary application, and I have to explain why I got a W when I did. I have 2-The first was for a neuroscience class that I was taking because I wanted to be a neuroscience minor, but soon realized that I would have to go to another year of school just to finish it, and I was already taking 6 years to graduate, so I decided to just drop that minor...so that one is relatively easy to explain. But the second one is for Physics II and the real reason I dropped it was because I was taking 4 other class and one of them was organic, and I realized really quickly that I wouldn't be able to get a good grade in both of them at the same time. I don't want a med school to think that I can't handle taking 2 sciences at the same time, so I don't really want to give that reason, but what other reason is there to drop a class? I don't want to lie either...ugh. Should I just put that reason? Why do W's even matter? We only had 1 week to drop a class without receiving a W, and that is not long enough to see if your schedule really works out right...Boo.

It was more kind've in the middle...But I wasn't a science major, so I had a lot of other classes I had to fit in with my pre-reqs, so it was only like my 4th science class or so.

Just be honest. You needed a little extra time adjusting to OChem and decided that instead of splitting your time between OChem and Physics, you decided to withdraw from Physics. It was an important lesson in time management and fully prepared you for later more challenging courses.

Pretty much a non-issue.

Thanks! That sounds so much better than how I worded it! haha. Now I just have to make both explanations fit into a 50 word limit!

I have two Ws, and it was simply because I decided after about two weeks I really didn't want to be in class for 9 hours a day.
