Why do DOs get such a bad name

Today I was talking to this applicant. I asked him why he didn't want to apply to DO schools. He said that he doesn't like the DO idea and that they are not "real" doctors. I was like wtf. WHy do DOs have such a bad name even though they have to learn extra stuff compared to MDs? WIll DO schools get competitive very soon?

You can get this type of information all over this forum. Please do not corrupt it with another thread like this. Learn it for yourself, don't listen to idiots. If you find it can satisfy you then pursue it, if not apply MD only. I hope Nate comes soon...
