Economics are only one part of job satisfaction. I find having subspecialty training not only enhances my job satisfaction, but gives me more standing in the hospital and has opened some doors.

D'oh! I'm being outed.

It wasn't a waste of time; I put 4 in the chamber that night. It is "You eat what you kill," so I'll have to see if it was worth losing a night of sleep over (in 4-5 months when insurance actual pays).
