Because they are extremely busy right now, and some people would sit there and call every second of the day if they could. Some are OCD about the whole process, and while it is important...people should try getting a job and that will keep them busy.

What really stinks is that a lot of schools dont even show up on AADSAS🙁 I think that since you pay a fee to apply they should be able to take 30 seconds out and answer a legitimate question.

Like Tufts, I have sent them 2 checks because I waited forever for them to cash the first one and they didnt and now they haven't cashed the second one either. I can't get a hold of anyone to inquire about it. I even emailed. No Repsonse😡 And the keep sending me emails saying to mail a check!! Annoying...

I bet some schools wont release info over the phone b/c of confidentiality laws.

Confidentiality laws? I have no idea why the schools you are applying to are so lame, but every school I have called has been super nice and helpful. (UoP, Marquette, and Loma Linda) Maybe because they are all private schools?

i was thinking of calling one of my top choice schools and basically explaining why i want to go there so bad to the dean

is that a bad idea?
