why do so many ppl apply to BU?

I didn't apply there, but it seems like BU receives the highest # of app's, even with their ridiculous tuition. why is this?

Maybe because it's in Boston, and the average stats aren't as daunting as Harvard. For me at least, the money will pay itself off down the road..very far down the road, but it will. So if I wanted to be in Boston and could go to BU, I would..but I dont know. I think location is pretty key and it's a pretty good school as well

personally, i applied to BU because I was applying all over the country and thought, hey why not Boston?!

But that's just me...

BU is one of those in the middle schools that meets everyone's criteria. Really good, but not intimidating. It's also in Boston, and it has big name recognition.

perhaps it's the easy secondary?
