why do transmission dates change

My AMCAS is processed and has been transmitted to all the schools, but I went on today and I noticed that the transmission dates of my application changed...are they retransmitting my application??

Hi there,

The schools' computers automatically download information from applicants who have indicated that school on their AMCAS applications. They complete this downloading periodically--some schools do it once per week, some more, some less. Each time they download applicant information, the date is reflected on your application.
