Why does Cholestyramine cause constipation ?!

Cholestyramine binds bile acids in the small intestines and inhibits their reabsorption, causing them to pass to the large bowel..
this should cause increased osmolality in large bowel and consequently more water to pass to the feces bulk, which should cause duarrhea an NOT constipation !
