Why do they only have like B.A. and B.S. and not B.A.H/B.S.H?

I'd like to add the H since I have to write a thesis and B.A. is usually done in 3 years...What did you guys put down? Thanks.

i want to congratulate you on your thesis and graduating with honors, i am sure you had plenty of long hours working (at least i did). but they really don't give a hoot. do mention that you wrote a thesis somewhere, under honors awarded. but all they care about is did you graduate?, what is the gpa you graduated with 🙂

It's not a big deal. I earned honors in my major and just threw it in on the AADSAS application where they ask about special acknowledgements or recognitions.

Also, what school do you go to that gives honor degrees that look like this: B.A.H.? I am on the recruiting team at my company and look through tons of resumes and have never seen such a degree.

they don't have it simply because while it might be significant to you, Adcoms just don't give a crap. Sorry pal.

I have to write a senior thesis and I don't get any honors for it (that's a GPA based thing). Stop whining, and don't expect special treatment because you graduated. Sorry...once you get into the real world you'll see that it doesn't matter where in your class you graduated- just that you graduated.

Talk about it in your essay thats what i did (summa cum laude, with honors from senior research project, finished in 6 semesters)

Thanks for the input...and I don't care that much so please don't give me the "real world" lecture. I was just wondering because at my university here in Canada general degrees are completed in 3 years. Meh, thanks for the guys who gave knowledgeable advice.
