Why Don't I have a Masseter Muscle?!

So seriously, I hardly have any masseter muscle at all. When I clench together, you can barely feel the muscle. The weird thing is that I grind and clench my teeth at night so I would think I'd have a bigger masseter muscle. Do you think the constant use of it has caused atrophy? Of course, I don't know if I had a bigger one before or if I've never had much of one....clearly, I'll probably live but I'm just curious what people think?

ru by any chance chubby? if you have a lot of adipose tissue around your cheeks you may prolly not be able to feel it.

Why is this a concern for you? It's not like babes go around checking out guy's masseters.

Guys, I just found out that by over using my triceps in bench press, my muscle actually went away! I think I found a cure for cancer! Just work out that area and it will vanish!

Yes, I have had physiology and did well...am I missing something? And no, I'm not chubby....typically if you constantly use a muscle, it gets larger, right? Well then how to explain the fact mine is nearly nonexistent ?!
Perhaps you have a steep mandiular plane angle...Research shows that those with a high angle tend to have weaker massater muscles.

It is definitely due to the steep mandibular angle... is your bite strong enough? maybe you do not know how to voluntarily contract the masseter while not chewing on something.... try biting on some sort of rubber and then feeling your masseter... i am pretty sure you will feel it strong
