As someone strongly considering EM, was wondering what everyone felt were the strengths and weaknesses of the job. I know all the lifestyle considerations but was looking for something a little deeper than that. Is it working up the broad differentials? Variety? Flexibility of your career?

Also, where do you see the field in say 10-15 years? I l'd love to hear all your opinions and also any resources you use to formulate your opinions.
