why heart failure is more common in left ventricle than right ventrilce

One reason: systemic hypertension is more common the pulmonary hypertension. Other reasons exist as well. Le googles. Or a nice pathophysiology textbook.
 
Most people are right handed. As we all learned in undergrad biology/physiology, the left side of the heart supplies the left half of the body, and the right half of the heart supplies the right half.

The heart knows this, and makes sure that if it's going to fail, it happens on our nondominant side. One of evolution's little tricks.
