It would cost bandwidth and a server to run it on. Also there wouldnt be that much of a point except just for fun. There are lots of other e-mail services out there. Those are just possible reasons why not though... Maybe there are others.

Hmmm, although perhaps there might be a certain cachet to having a 'sdn.com' email addy.
Doesn't have to be too serious - something on the order of what most colleges offer alumni - a remailing service to whatever ISP POP/Yahoo/Hotmail account a person actually uses.
Don't know that cost/profit breakdown would be, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people would pay for the service ...
If I'm not mistaken, there used to be email addresses back a long time ago, way before I was ever around. Of course, I could be totally making this up, lol.
