Besides the fact that they are rolling admission and relatively friendly towards out-of-staters, what are some other reasons to want to attend this school? I looked on the school's website and they don't seem to do such a good job in selling the school.

Nice hospital, good facilities, good neighborhood, friendly atmosphere, good reputation for good clinical training, #43 in research funding (and they just built a huge biomedical research building that should be opening up sometime in the next several months). Cost isn't bad for a private school, and the faculty are all there for you.

they took the time to send me an email to apply 🙄

Features one of the top 5 children's hospitals in the nation on campus...residency programs in emergency medicine and anesthesiology are highly regarded, which leads to quality experience for students in those rotations...non-mandatory lecture attendance, mp3 lectures/powerpoints available online the day of lecture (this is VERY important your first two years)...excellent opportunities to conduct paid research on campus during your first two years, which helps greatly in getting competitive residency positions...opportunities to conduct all clinical rotations very close to campus, meaning no mandatory outstate rotations (which, if I understand correctly, is the case at UW-Madison).

You want one more reason MCW is a great choice? I roam the halls daily showing my strong pimphand and laying down the law. Need I say more?

PM me with any other questions about the school.
