Hi guys! There is a question on MWU supplemental application that why you wish to attend MWU? There isnt much you can answer to that question except the fact that its a brand new campus and it will be exciting! Dont really know how the faculty is and what kind of curriculum or student services they provide. what did everyone else do?

Thanks!

Dont they clue you in to their teaching philosophy and what they believe the strong suits of their school to be on their website? If so, you are choosing midwestern because of those attributes...

It takes a particular type of person to be a part of a new school or anything new at that. I know a lot of dental students who I think would have a real hard time being at a new school because they always freak out on the small stuff. If you are comfortable with having things be flexible and know that there will be bumps then you are the type of student that would be good at a new school. If you are more rigid, stiff and freak out under stress then being at a new school probably will be a bad experience

At UNLV students mentioned that they like being part of a new school because professors listen more closely to thier input and concerns. The students more or less have a part in the initial development of the school. Rather than a established school that is "set in its ways," a new school is more open to change, new methods and ideas... I wrote something along those lines anyway.
