Okay, so a lot of you have been posting questions on why to apply to this or that school. So how about PCOM? Why have you guys decided to apply to PCOM?

Location means a lot to the medical student. If you visit a school with affiliations in the inner city, then visit one in a suburban or rural environment, you will see that there is a major difference in the climate of the hospital.

Among the osteopathic schools, PCOM is the one of the few in a major metropolis area. That was important to me.

Location and the network of providers for rotations. Also, PCOM is "prestigous" and "top-tier". Also, cheesesteaks.
