i am just curious why you guys chose pharmacy as your profession, rather than something like dentistry or medicie??

alot of people (that i know anyway) say they wouldnt do pharmacy becuase it's a boring career
i feel like i would enjoy it, but i'm gettin volunteering hours soon to find out

what attracted all of your guys to the profession???

I'm post-bacc premed, but the more I read on pharmacy the more it makes me think twice! From what I understand (though please correct me if I'm wrong), you can get around $90K for like 24 weeks of work per year... (7 weeks on / 7 weeks off). Gives you tons of time to do something else, have another job, life, etc. Very cool. 🙂

so the other 84 or so ppl that visited this thread have no specific reason for chosing pharmacy

nice 😀

It seems like I've seen a very similar question once or twice before on this board.. 🙄

This one isn't bad, even though it got off-track a little. And here are the responses the last time someone asked 'why pharmacy'.
