I just want to know why some would choose to take a masters program instead of doing post-bac study. Don't masters programs take 1.5-2 years? It seems that from this forum, schools look just as favorably upon post-bac study, with post-bac being the faster program of the two, thus you reapply the next year instead of waiting two years to finish the masters and applying.

I know my school offers a few one year non thesis masters programs.

i don't know about the master's program, but i would love to find out about the post-bac study.
i got my bs in BIO this year. now, if i take more sci classes at a CC, will my grades and gpa transfer to my school and more importantly to my transcript?

I dont see why these courses would transfer to your old school since you have completed your degree. If you take courses at a CC and use them to fill requirements towards another degree at your old school then they should, but otherwise I doubt it.
