Yeah haa I was reading about that during microanatomy. Too bad the course director was sitting right behind me... great now I look like a dipsh*t for goofing off. Oh well. 😳

It's pretty much going that way for non routine things anway. Human's can't know all there is about the body at once, it's just too much info. Then add liability to that. I can see one day when a patient comes in, the prelim diagnostic info and history are input into a search engine, and then it outputs all the differential diagnoses, the pertinent +- for each, and then suggested tests or standardized treatments.

Also, the googling is just being further indoctrinated through PBL learning issues. Thanks Google Scholar

Internet access has been known to be interrrupted in cases of disaster (Katrina), bad weather, being too close to the radiology department machines in the hospital, etc. Best to know at least a little in your head.
