Hi, I'm a fourth year undergrad student who will be applying this June.
My dream school is Tufts dental, and I really really want to go there.

If you're a current Tufts dental student, can you please tell some specific
points to mention on Why Tufts? question?

I'd really appreciate your help, thanks.

If this really is your dream school, then this question should be a no-brainer. Just tell them why you want to go there.

Tufts, to me, was always a generic dental school with a hefty price tag. There wasn't much compelling about it that drew me to it. I agree with the above poster. If Tufts is sincerely your dream school, it shouldn't be too hard coming up with things to write about how it is a perfect match for your values and goals. Look at their mission and vision statements.

Now look at Penn's. http://www.dental.upenn.edu/about_us/mission_statement

You can clearly differentiate how each school attempts to sell/advertise itself. You want to appear as someone whose goals (mission) and values (vision) reflects that of the school. Hopefully you are sincere in your secondaries and personal statement.

Every student has a different reason for attending each school.

My wife is starting her pediatric residency in Boston. We wanted/needed to be in the same city. Tufts was my best option out of the three. Other acceptances outside of Boston didn't matter. This is why I chose Tufts.

In my personal opinion, unless you have a desire to pursue academia/research, Tufts is the best option in the Boston area.
