So to give some context I was planning to prewrite an essay for this school, where I'm considered a regional applicant (bordering state) at. The reasons that I was planning to highlight for why I wanted to attend this particular school is because it is relatively close to my immediate family, I have extended family that live in this state, and tuition. Family's pretty important to me, but I was thinking that if I chose this angle, the school could be like, "well why don't you just go to your in-state school and then you can be close to your family?" One of the reasons I was planning to highlight is that tuition at my state school has increased so much to the point that regional tuition at this school and my state school differs by like 1000 dollars. Is this a good path I'm heading down or should I approach this essay from another angle?
