Does anyone know what makes dental school put you in an alternate list even though you got an interview early ?

B/c some late interviewers are more competitive and therefore gets chosen over people that interview earlier...sucks I know...I got waitlisted at Louisville and Penn. 🙄

I would like to know the answer to that question. I had an interview in November and I am still waiting for their reply.

I interviewed on the very first day of interviews at San Antonio and I am on the waitlist right now. But I interviewed on the first day of interviews at Houston and was accepted on Nov. 30. It does not make sense at all.

I think that means that one liked you more than the other, each school has its own criteria and they have different preferences, so I guess you matched with one more than the other,,,
